How it works
Live in minutes
Log in and start a broadcast
Anyone running the service logs in, opens a new broadcast, and sets up their audio input. Wordcast starts transcribing the moment sound comes in.
Congregation scans the QR code
Display the code on a screen or print it in the bulletin. Visitors open it in any mobile browser without needing to download an app.
Everyone hears in their language
Listeners pick their language and receive the sermon as live text or voice, following along in real time.
Features
Built for the real world of ministry
Wordcast handles the languages your congregation actually speaks — including dialects and scripts that most translation tools get wrong.
120+ languages
From Spanish and Mandarin to Yoruba, Khmer, and Arabic dialects. Every listener picks their own language — served simultaneously, no extra setup.
Under 2-second latency
Translation streams in near real-time, keeping pace with the sermon without distracting delays or awkward gaps.
No app to download
Scan a QR code. Opens instantly in any mobile browser — nothing to install, zero friction for anyone in the room.
Listen or read
Listeners can read the live transcript on their screen or have it read aloud in their language — whichever works best for them.
Transcripts saved automatically
Every session is transcribed and saved. Search past sermons and export the text.
Personalized for your church
Add your logo, a welcome message, and your colors. Easily customizable for your church.
Use cases
Any service. Any gathering. Any language.
Sunday services
The family that finally hears.
A Spanish-speaking family has been attending for two months. They follow along as best they can. With Wordcast, they open their phone and hear every word — in their own language, in real time. No headsets, no coordinator, no setup.
Ideal for churches with immigrant, refugee, or mixed-language congregations.
Conferences & events
One broadcast. Every language in the room.
A denominational gathering. A regional mission conference. A training event with delegates from a dozen countries. The speaker stays at the podium — attendees follow along in their own language, on their own phone.
Works for any size event, from 30 people to 3,000. No equipment to rent or return.
International city churches
Built for the church that looks like the world.
Churches in global cities often serve 15, 20, even 30 nationalities. A single Wordcast account handles all of them — one QR code per service, every language available to every attendee, every week.
Pro plan supports unlimited simultaneous sessions — useful for multi-site or multi-service churches.

On the field?
Mission pricingMissionaries, church planters, and small congregations in developing regions can access Wordcast at a heavily reduced rate — or free. No formal application. Just reach out and explain your context.
Why Wordcast exists
“Over fifteen years of Bible translation experience has taught that the language barrier in the church is bigger than people think. It's not just people sitting in the pew unable to follow — it's people who don't come at all because they know they won't understand. Making the church genuinely accessible means solving both.”
15+ years in Bible translation
SIL-trained · field experience in sub-Saharan and North Africa
Understands the nuance of theological language across cultures
Tuned for sermon vocabulary, not just casual conversation
Built for churches that can't afford interpreter systems
Pricing designed to be accessible to congregations worldwide
Wordcast was built from that conviction. Real-time translation used to require expensive headset systems, trained interpreters, or technical setup beyond what most churches can manage. We wanted something that just works — a QR code, any phone, any language.
The same care that goes into faithful Bible translation goes into every language model and theological phrase we've tuned. This isn't a generic transcription and translation tool. It's built for the church, from deep experience with what's at stake when the Word is on the line.
For the global church
Translation access for every congregation.
Not just the ones with the budget.
Field workers and small international churches shouldn't be priced out of the tools that the global church needs. If that's you — or your church wants to help one that is — there's a path.

FAQ
Common questions
Do listeners need to download an app?
No. Listeners open a link or scan the QR code in any mobile browser. There is nothing to install — it works on any smartphone, tablet, or laptop.
Can multiple languages run at the same time?
Yes. Every listener independently selects their language. A single session can serve Spanish, French, Mandarin, Arabic, and any other supported language simultaneously — with no extra setup.
What audio setup do I need?
Any microphone works — a built-in laptop mic, a USB mic, or a professional audio interface. For larger venues, plugging into the soundboard gives the cleanest results. Wordcast runs in any browser on any device.
How accurate are the translations?
Wordcast uses frontier AI models with dialect-aware routing. Quality is high for all major world languages and solid for most others. We're transparent about languages that have known limitations.
Are transcripts saved after each session?
Yes. Every session is transcribed and saved automatically. You can search through past sermons, export the text, or repurpose it for sermon notes, newsletters, or other resources.
How many people can listen at the same time?
Unlimited. There is no cap on the number of listeners — whether you have 10 people or 1,000, everyone joins the same session simultaneously at no extra cost.
Can I try Wordcast before committing?
Yes. Every paid plan starts with a 7-day free trial — no charge until the trial ends, and you can cancel any time with no penalty.
Can I display the translation on a screen or monitor?
Yes. Open the listener page on any browser-connected device — a TV, projector, or display at the front of the room works perfectly. Open the link, pick a language, and the live transcript appears full-screen. No extra software or setup needed.
Can listeners hear the translation out loud, or only read it?
Both. Listeners choose to read the live transcript or have it read aloud in their language using natural-sounding text-to-speech. Most people prefer listening with their phone in their pocket.
